My goodness,

I had just taken the last mason jar of rhubarb down into the root
cellar when I had one of those... feelings. Sure enough, when I
returned to the kitchen there was a native American fellow sitting on
the floor in front of a small fire he'd organized on the linoleum tiles.

He was making smoke signals:

"Do... you... want... to... play... two shows... in... black bear
testicles? Oh, wait. Carry the three, then cancel out: New York City!"

"Who sent you???" I mentally mumbled while crying out loud, "Yes, I'll
do it!"

"Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys!" lisped the savage,
psychically. And then he appended the following smoke signals:

Friday, November 14th at the Sidewalk Cafe in Manhattan (94 Avenue A)

and

Saturday, November 15th at Goodbye Blue Monday in Brooklyn (1087 Broadway)

Both shows are with Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys, plus
special guests, and both shows start early!
