Circleofdrums is a notice board created for those who want to participate in
drum circle gatherings on the
Northern Beaches area of Sydney, NSW.

Fire twirlers and dancers are most welcome to attend the gatherings, as are onlookers who may be experiencing the drum circle for the first time.

Every one at the drum circle helps create the wonderful atmosphere,
generated by the collective conscience of the gathering, even if you're just sitting back and watching.

Although one of the main instruments used in the drum circle is the djembe,
other types of percussion instruments are also played. (Dun duns, bongos, cowbell etc.)

Dates and times of drum circle gatherings in our area are posted on the message board and on the Circleofdrums calendar.

Do not hesitate to post your feedback about topics on this site or comments about a drum circle or festival you attended etc. You will need to join the yahoo group to post your messages (No Cost and is Spam Free). Discussion about drum circle etiquette, drum techniques and drum care etc is also discussed here.

Announcements from gatherings; including festivals and other drum n' dance related information are welcome to post info on this site, as we drummers have the tendency to travel around the place!
