Though there hasn't been much out of me lately, I still think of
Clear Light almost every day. They had that much of an impact on me.

There's no way that Tom Paxton version of Mr. Blue can compare to the
Clear Light version, even though Paxton wrote it! I've found that
with many songs written by one artist but covered by another. The
covers end up sounding better than the original. In this case, I am
highly prejudiced but still...

Sure wish the reunion could have come about but it just wasn't in the
cards.

At first I wished Clear Light could have been represented in the Rock
And Roll Hall Of Fame but now I think it would be an insult,
especially the way the Hall is going. I don't think Jan Wenner would
know a good band if it bit him in the ass anyway.

So, Clear Light has to be our band, for the small group of rabid fans
we are. We know what they did and what impact they had on us. I guess
that's all that really counts anyway.
