Hope everybody is going to buy the new single. I was really pleased
that Cliff had decided to include the song "Slow Down" which he hasn't
released before. It's a brilliant song.

Lucky you, meeting the man - wish I could. Have always wanted too but
so far haven't been lucky enough - maybe in the future? I should have
gone to Aintree on Saturday to watch the Grand National - Cliff was
there!! No advance publicity about that though!

Like most of you, my collection includes tapes of tv appearances since
1989 when I became a fan, vhs from movies & concerts, cds, lps,
singles, books, I'm now beginning to built up my dvd collection of
concerts, but my prize possesion has to be the Castle dvd which Cliff
signed at Harrods. I queued for hours in the cold with the flu all for
a couple of seconds of the man's attention, but it was so wurth it !!!
When he looks into your eyes it's unbelievable. I'll treasure that
memory forever.

My
collection sounds similar to yours! I've also got loads of videos of programmes
he's appeared on, on TV, plus all his films on video, apart from 1, "His
Land", which is on DVD. I was also lucky enough to pick up a book
recently, in a charity shop, and the book is signed!! It was only £1.00 - how's
that for a bargain!!

have an old EMItape !
Wow Valerie - now that does sound a good buy ! Anyone else have
anything like this ?

I hadn't heard it was the last tennis tournament this year. What a
shame!! Although I've never been, I always watch the highlights on Sky
on Christmas Day. Really makes Christmas special!!
I hope it's not the start of Cliff retiring either - perish the
thought!!

Any of our members like to share their photos like Valerie has ? Any
ideas for polls or anything else for the group ? Please e mail me or
post on here (do not include your e mail address for your own safety)
with your details and interests if you would like pen pals with
similar interests and I will match you up !
What do you all think of this years tennis being the last after 22
years ? It was always a good way to start Christmas, wasn't it, and a
great atmosphere there at NIA with all the fans, but Cliff is 65 in
October so we have to respect his decision to slow down a little.
Just hope it's not the start of him retiring - what do you think ?
If you notice that your older messages are no longer on here, its
because I am having a 'Spring clean' and cleaning up the site!! The
new messages will remain and only be deleted after some time to make
way for new ones! I appreciate all your feedback and posts so do
please keep them coming. Love to have new members too. Thanks.
I saw Jimmy in "Cliff - The Musical" in Manchester a while ago. He
was excellent. I'll certainly take a look at his website.

I have been on the website and tried to send a mail about making
friends - did this twice and both got returned. I also posted an
Easter greeting. That was also returned. The message says the e-mail
address does not exist. Can you help?

I have been asked to mention (and I am happy to do so)that Jimmy
Jemain will be celebrating the 2nd anniversary of his fan club and
fansite in October. It is a party not to be missed - Jimmy will be
there and its going to be a wonderful night. Last years was a great
night, he had a wonderful time, as did all his guests and this years
will be even better !! It would be great if as many of his fans can
be there as possible, so If you would like to be part of this event
please e mail: jjinfo@... or see the fansite:
www.jimmyjemainfansite.co.uk for full details. Thank you.
Hello Catherine,
It was good to see another member when I checked the group website
just now. I've created an album of some of my Cliff pictures, hope
you like them.
Valerie
Thank you for approving my request to join your group.
As I said on my application, I have been a fan of Cliff since I was 11 years old. I am now 58 and still think he's the greatest!!
I live in Manchester and was lucky enough to see Cliff in "Heathcliff" a few years ago. I've also seen him at the MEN Arena. Last summer I saw him at Warwick Castle - wonderful show and we were so lucky with the weather.
Welcome ! This is a new group for Cliff fans. Please feel free to
apply for membership to this group. Please also view my website:
