The Emancipation of Mimi


There are few artist that can be referred to simply as “The Voice” and be
identifiable. Then again, when you have a career in the industry spanning almost
15 years, and have had more number one hits then most singers have had albums,
you can probably get away with it. No matter how bad it got, Mariah has always
been one of the most powerful singers in the industry. She is back again with
“The Emancipation of Mimi”. She explains “Mimi” as a name used by those close to
her. Mimi or Mariah, choose which ever you like, but make no mistake, “The
Voice” is back.
