But... to answer your question, go here:

There are more than 2 Atari MIDI algo programs around. You can use the
STEEM emulator on Windows to run the apps. On Linux you can run XSTEEM.

Keykit deals only with midi, not audio samples. A little google searching should easily find image-to-sound converters of various types, here’s the first one...
