Did you folks see this yet? The videos are up now. I have to say I appreciated
hearing him say that he does some solos without the bass line because it's too
hard to put them in! :)

I think sometimes, if i'm hearing it correctly, he goes from alternating 1st and 4ths strings in drop d to thumping the 1st (base string dropped to d)...

I think what he means, rather, is that in many songs he will drone a bass note over the solo, rather than try (as in Rocket Launcher) to maintain the song's...

it's a little inconsistent at times but for the most part he alternates the D octave on the 6th and 4th strings the whole time. Luke Brindley ... (e)...
