Yes, TASCAM makes one, i think you can find it on musicians friend. It allows
you to load mp3's and then slow them down, loop sections, all the usual stuff.
Let me know if you are able to find it, if not i'll see what i can dig up.
Welcome to the group!

Subject: [cockburn-musicians] new member - question about mpeg3 players for
guitarists
hello folks! big Cockburn fan and guitar-player, and I am excited to find you
all here on the internet. I live on a sailboat, and in preparation for a
round-the-world journey, have decided to finally accept the challenges of
learning many Cockburn songs. I have a few guitars on the boat. Martin D-18, an
Ovation, and Stratocaster.
my question is about mpeg3 players, that allow you to slow down the riffs to
give a player a fighting chance! I used to do this in the 70's by slowing up the
turntable, in the 90's by grabbing a snippet and playing it back ad-infinitum.
anyone know of a mpeg3 player that can accomplish such a feat?
I love iTunes, but the player is rather limiting for this applications.
peace,
daniel taylor
