Greetings!

This just in from True North and then read on for re-issue
information.

For Immediate Release

TRUE NORTH RECORDS IS SET TO RELEASE THE NEW ALBUM FROM BRUCE
COCKBURN, YOUčVE NEVER SEEN EVERYTHING, ON JUNE 10, 2003

YOUčVE NEVER SEEN EVERYTHING FEATURES GUEST APPEARANCES BY EMMYLOU
HARRIS, JACKSON BROWNE, SARAH HARMER, AND SAM PHILLIPS

Toronto ON (March 25, 2003) On June 10, True North Records will
release Youčve Never Seen Everything, the highly anticipated new
album from multi-talented and internationally renowned singer-
songwriter Bruce Cockburn. Youčve Never Seen Everything is Cockburnčs
first full-length studio album since his 1999 critically acclaimed
and JUNO Award winning Breakfast in New Orleans Dinner in Timbuktu.

With a career that spans over three decades, Cockburn has never
stopped recording, touring, and reflecting on political and social
causes. Born in Ottawa in 1945, Cockburn set his sights on a career
in music after growing up listening to Elvis records. He landed at
Berklee College of Music in Boston in the early 60s, but found he was
too spiritually restless to settle into studies of jazz guitar and
composition and in 1965 he moved back to Ottawa to play in a series
of rock and roll bands.

Cockburn eventually found his voice as a songwriter drawing upon
instinctive spirituality, a keen eye for detail, and a wry sense of
humor. By then he had also developed a highly personal finger picking
guitar style that merged Mississippi John Hurt blues with modal jazz
harmony as well as melodic lyricism and cycling rhythms that
suggested an ear for Indian, Asian, and African music. Twenty-seven
albums later, Cockburn continues to redefine himself musically and is
widely recognized for his compelling songwriting, innovative guitar
playing, and social content of his songs.

Co-produced by Cockburn and Colin Linden and recorded in Toronto,
Montreal, Nashville, and Los Angeles, Youčve Never Seen Everything
features guest appearances from Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, Sarah
Harmer, and Sam Phillips.

Summer tour dates will be announced soon.

In other news.....

A recent e-conference with Rounder Records revealed that the likely
titles for the next set of re-issues will be Stealing Fire, Humans,
High Winds White Sky and Sunwheel Dance. These are just
tentative 'choices' and no release date has been set. Keep watching
The Cockburn News for updates.

A reader in Canada wrote in to pass along to the Canadian fans that
the CD's are available at Chapters for the very reasonable price of
$14.99. She picked up three so far and they were a great value. The
photos are great and the bonus tracks are a real treat for any Bruce
fan. Thanks, NB!

That's it for this issue. Thanks to all the readers who wrote in in
response to the last issue of The Cockburn News. There are many
of 'like mind' out there who would like to see the world break out in
peace, for a change. Let's raise a joyful collective thought that
that could still happen.

Peace,
Suzanne Myers
