24 March 2004

Greetings:

It's been 'a couple whiles' as my son used to say, since the last
newsletter, so I guess it's time for a brief update. Bruce has
finished his tour in Australia, and from the reports I've read,
everyone (including Bruce) had a great time while he was down under.
He's on a well-deserved hiatus right now, but will pick up his guitar
in May for a few tourdates in the UK:

26 May 2004
Blackheath Concert Halls
Blackheath, UK.

27 May 2004
Robin 2
Wolverhampton, UK.

28 May 2004
Burnley Mechanics
Burnley, UK.

29 May 2004
Varieties
Leeds, UK.

*There are active links to further information on many of these gigs
on the 'tourdates' page at The Cockburn Project, thanks to Bobbi!

A saavy reader sent in this link to a great interview in Sojourner's
Magazine which is available to read online. In it Bruce discusses
his fact-finding tour in Iraq during January 2004:

Be sure to visit http://www.cockburnproject.net to see updates to the
tourdates pages. David has been very busy (whew busy!) adding all
the recent setlists and pictures that have been sent in. Thanks to
all the readers who take time to send us setlists, their personal
reviews and pictures. The pages are full of great information. We
are always seeking old setlists and 'previously unknown' concert
information, so if you have anything that fits that bill send it
along to setlists@...

For the musicians out there the 'for musician's' list, hosted by The
Cockburn Project, is a very active group sharing tabs and tips for
playing Bruce's music old and new. You can join that group by
visiting the site and going to the 'for musicians' pages.

That's it for this issue of the newsletter as those of us in the
northern hemisphere await spring...FINALLY the snow is starting to
melt!

I'd like to personally thank the editorial staff for keepin' on
keepin' on.

Peace,
Suzanne Myers
