Greetings:
Here's some information about a gig coming up in the fall. Please
note this is NOT confirmed with True North as yet, but it came to
The Cockburn Project from the promoter:
An Evening with Bruce Cockburn
With 20 Gold and Platinum records and 10 Juno awards to his name,
Bruce Cockburn's 30 year career has not gone unnoticed. "For me,
what is essential is to write about as much of the human experience
as I can..." said Cockburn, and that is exactly what you will get
from the Canadian Folk legend. Cockburn's extensive list of 27
albums has been topped off with his latest release in 2003
titled "Breakfast In New Orleans...Dinner In Timbuktu."

This from a Cockburn Project reader:
Bruce did the soundtrack for a Canadian film in 1984
called "Waterwalker." It's a lovely film and an equally lovely
soundtrack. I just happened to find it for $19 at

Screen=PROD&Product_Code=6027
And for those of you who didn't get to see Live 8 here's a site
where you can watch some of the action, thanks to another reader of
The Cockburn News:
Bruce's 3 Live8 songs streaming on AOL:

That's it for this issue of The Cockburn News. Keep those cards and
letters coming in folks, and I'll pass along the information.
