Greetings:
Bernie Finkelstein, Bruce's manager sent along this information:
"CBC radio ran a special series on five important Canadian Albums one
of which they deemed to be Bruce's Inner City Front. They are now
streaming the show at the following link. Well worth listening to."

Watch http://www.cockburnproject.net for updates on Bruce's live solo
CD. It's to be a double CD called Slice O Life and should be out
around the last week of March 2009. It'll be released on True North
Records in Canada, Rounder in the US and through various others
outside of North America. One of its unique features will be tracks of
several soundchecks. The CDs are a mixture of some older pieces,
soundchecks, stories and some new pieces as well. We're working on
getting the track listing posted right now.
Bernie also told The Cockburn Project that the DVD project is still in
development, and may end up actually being two DVDs, one a documentary
and one a concert film. He promised more information when it becomes
available, so we'll keep you posted.
He mentioned there may be some tourdates in April in the Southwest,
but nothing is confirmed at this point, again, we'll keep you posted.
Right now Bruce is not touring as he's spending time writing new
material.
Bernie also noted, "Bruce has just finished recording a track for an
upcoming tribute CD to the Band. He did a little known Band song
called Sleeping and it's done with Blue Rodeo backing him.
He also just finished recording a track for the upcoming Mississippi
Sheiks tribute CD being put together by Steve Dawson (Zubot & Dawson
etc.)."
So I guess for the time-being we'll have to content ourselves with
listening to the radio show above.
As always, thank you for your contributions to The Cockburn Project.
The entire project is built on the contributions of information from
you, our readership.
Peace always,
