Greetings!

The Cockburn Project is currently running a new feature which is on
Bill Reid and his Haida connections in anticipation of the benefit
concert Bruce is doing for the Bill Reid Foundation this coming
Saturday, May 18th (see below for details). Editor Audrey Pearson
submitted a wonderful piece that weaves together the connection
between Bruce, Bill, the Haida Nation and 'the land'. Please check

As the summer touring season approaches I thought you'd all like an
updated copy of Bruce's touring schedule. All dates are provided by
True North and often represent shows that are not yet advertised, so
please be patient if your local venue is mentioned, you call them and
they say: Bruce is playing here? Trust me, this has happened to
me! Here's the complete list compiled by editor Bobbi Wisby, I hope
there's one near you!

Reid Foundation. The tickets for the benefit will go on sale Friday

North by Northeast festival
The Phoenix
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Note: NXNE begins with the fifth annual White Ribbon Concert at the
Phoenix June 4, featuring host Jeff Martin of The Tea Party, Bruce
Cockburn, Gordie Johnson, The Watchmen's Daniel Greaves, Snow, Ian
Thornley, Kim Stockwood, and Damhnait Doyle. NXNE runs June 6 through
8 and features 400 musical artists performing at 24 downtown clubs
and venues.
NXNE wristband passes, $18 plus tax, go on sale today and allow
access to all participating clubs between June 6 and 8 (subject to
capacity). Wristbands are available at Ticketmaster, select HMV
stores, and Now Magazine's offices. Tickets to the White Ribbon
Concert are $25 in advance, but the first 200 wristband-wearers get
in free.
