Hello Colorado A Cappellans!
This is great news! CASA, after much experimentation, has launched a new information service that provides you with news and ideas in the A Cappella World that you will likely find useful and interesting. I am very excited to introduce this to our Colorado a cappella singers and fans and I hope you will find it useful. Links below will take you directly to CASA items of interest, actually pages in www.casa.org, where you will find resources and casual information on the national and international scene and occasional notes from right here in Colorado. For the next few weeks I will forward this to our message board members at colorado-acappella@yahoogroups.com. By linking to CASA, you can eventually choose to receive your own handy digital newspaper from CASA itself. -- Rol Sharette

Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of CASA!
By

With so much talk about the next US President and countless Obamas, Clintons, McCains, and Romneys floating about, you may have forgotten that CASA has recently held its own election. The annual election of the CASA Board of Directors was held in January. I took a few minutes of the new President's time to let him tell you about why he should be.. er..uh.. IS the President. New Pres, congrats! Are you excited? Scared? Yes. Excited and scared. This is a tremendous time to be involved with CASA. We have worked to bring together the a cappella community for well over a decade now, and we're proud of those efforts. At the same time, there is so much more we can be doing. I expect to see big changes in CASA over the next several months and years. It's not going to be easy, but we're going to have a good time along the way!  [ Read More ]

This is a great time to be a musician
By Barry Carl

This is a great time to be a musician. True, the general economy is in the toilet, unemployment is rising, your palatial home is now worth fifty cents and you cant fill your cars gas tank for less than fifty bucks. On the other hand, you can record an entire album in your loo using your laptop and release it over the internet without having to get into bed with a record label. The artist currently known as Prince figured it out a while back. If he could sell his own record for twenty bucks a pop, hed make more money lots more money selling lots fewer records than if he made a record for a label, which might give him twenty cents per record sold, minus all of their bogus give-backs.  [ Read More ]

A Cappella singers help raise $500 with 1st 'Fil-Anthropy'

In a fusion of cultural expressions, students danced, played African drums and sang a cappella to raise money Saturday night to improve education in the Philippines. Kaibigan, Northwestern's Filipino student association, put on Fil-Anthropy 2008, its first ever philanthropic event, featuring performances by Boomshaka, Fusion, Brown Sugar, Graffiti Dancers, Tonik Tap and African Drum and Dance Ensemble . There was also a spoken word piece by Communication students Liezl Rivadelo and AJ Aguado. Angela Chang, co-president of Kaibigan, said she was pleased with the show's 90 attendees. To the Colorado a cappella community,

With your help, the new organization, Colorado A Cappella, is going
to change how vocalists, vocal percussionists, sound techs, fans and
families interact with "all-vocal" music in our state.

If you have not yet heard of Colorado A Cappella, we are a new
organization that has transformed the way college singing groups
function and interact with each other and the larger music
community.

In the past year, we have hosted the 2007 Colorado Vocal Conference,
the Holiday Showcase at CU Boulder, and we are now sponsoring the
Mile High Vocals Project, funded and recorded by Tony Huerta at Sonic
Audio Productions. In the upcoming year, we are hoping to expand our
scope in the community to include relationships with high school and
professional level singing groups and organizations.

The purpose for this message is to let subscribers to the
<colorado-acappella> message board know about our recently developed
website.

Within the website www.coloradoacappella.com, we have dozens of
features including a calendar, a music store, and an "all a cappella"
forum. We hope that you will utilize these extremely valuable web
tools and that our website will become a vital resource for singers
and groups in Colorado.

A "Forum" is different than the message board you are using here,
because it involves its subscribers in active discussions on various
topics of interest involving a cappella. The forum can be very useful
in that questions can be answered by any subscriber. You will get
responses that are really useful and sometimes not useful at all.
However, the point is that this forum encourages a dialog that has
previously been reserved for after show bar talk and sound booth
squabble.

Simply sign up for a user name and password, and you can access your
Colorado-specific a cappella discussion from any computer at any
time. If you have something to add to a discussion, you need not be
shy; you can make your opinion heard. The best way to develop a close
community of a cappella singers and fans is to encourage dialog.
Let's open up this dialog to more people and encourage those not yet
involved to make their voices heard as well.

You can access the "Colorado A Cappella Forum" directly by going to
http://www.coloradoacappella.com and clicking on the "forum" link.

Thanks!

Come to Groove Society's show this Tuesday and lose your wintertime blues!

Groove Society will be performing on Tuesday, February 26 at Nissi's in Lafayette.  Showtime is 7:30 PM and tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.  Nissi's is an outstanding listening venue with a great menu and atmosphere.

www.nissis.com   303-665-2757

Nissi's entire menu revolves around a "family-styled" dining experience where gourmet, small-plates (or Tapas) are shared among friends and family. For that reason, we focused our menu on affordable, smaller portions of tasty, bistro-styled food.

All of Nissi's food is chef-prepared and draws from French, Italian, and Spanish influences, plus an infusion of contemporary, regional favorites. In addition to the food menu, Nissi's boasts an array of fine wines and popular beers as well as rich and decadent desserts.

2008 Rocky Mountain Harmony A Cappella Festival to be held Saturday, March 15 Print E-mail
Written by Gloria Shanstrom
Saturday, 23 February 2008

This year marks the 19th regional Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival and the 24th National Harmony Sweeps. Harmony Sweepstakes is the premier American showcase for vocal harmony music. The annual national competition draws hundreds of vocal groups from around the country with regional competitions in eight cities. The winning group from each festival is flown in to perform in front of celebrity judges and a sold out house of enthusiastic a cappella fans at the National Finals.

The rules are very simple. Any style of music can be performed, so long as no instruments - only voices - are used. A panel of judges comprised of local and national music experts and media celebrities rank the performances based on skill, originality and presentation.

On Saturday, March 15, in the Ranum Auditorium, the following seven talented a cappella groups will compete for recognition and valuable prizes, as well as the Rocky Mountain Championship title in the 2007 Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes. The current performers in the show all demonstrate a sense of fun
with their voices, so be prepared to be asked to create some vocal
sounds on the spot!

Hello all Colorado Vocal Groups!!!
Big News!!!
Sonic Audio Productions and Colorado Acappella are pleased to announce the groups for the 2008 Mile High Vocal Project.

The auditions were all so good and we had a hard time choosing not only the content but the talent!  Again, the audition process not only looked at the talent level of the group but song style.  Each "like" group was judged based on the other participating groups.  Diverse song selection was also a determining factor for the project.  for example, if two college groups sang the same style of music, the group with the better sound (tuning, blend, etc...) was chosen.  If an auditioning group did something totally unique, although their sound might not be as tight as another group, they might have been chosen.

Here is the current line-up in order from High School to Professional:
Please contact Tony immediately for setting recording sessions if you haven't already...

Air Academy HS "Out of the Blue"
Cheyenne HS "Crimson"
Denver University "Idiosincrasies"
CU "Mile 21"
CU "Extreme Measures"
United States Air force Academy "In The Stairwell"
"Face"
"Groove Society"
"Nexus"
"Ignition"
"40th Parallel"
"Sound of the Rockies"
"Denver A Cappella Project"
"Ars Nova"

These listed groups have definitely been chosen to represent Colorado on this CD.
Remember, we will be doing this every year.

Still, there is room for 2 more college groups!!!  If you are a collegiate group and still interested in auditioning, please let me know ASAP.
Resonant Ramblings and In The Buff have auditions set.

Thank you to all of the auditioning groups!!  We would like to set an audition with you again next year.

Please Note:

In the current sponsor's first experience with auditioned groups having to cancel their commitment to perform at the annual Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes, Debbie Faber, producer, has released the following information: "After extensive discussion with the group directors, I must announce today that both Groove Society (Rocky  Mountain Champion in 2003) and Vocality (2007 Runner Up), have indicated that, due to unforseen circumstances, they have had to withdraw from our 2008 competition."

Both of these groups -- and five others -- were selected from a field of 13 auditionees earlier this year to represent what the 8-person audition panel felt would be a very strong field of seven competing groups for 2008. The panel members were sorry to have to turn away other groups whom they felt were not quite ready for the prestigious event which represents the finest a cappella group performers in our large geographical area.

Ms. Faber has limited options to call upon in adjusting the slate of competing groups, but has invited one of the original 13 groups, Plumbers of Rome, a 2006 competitor, who had conditionally applied for the Denver competition, to fill one of the vacated positions. We are pleased to announce that this group, an unusually eclectic and humorous trio of experienced performers, has agreed to participate, resulting in a field of six competing groups for the March 15 program.

Our Host Group, 2007 Rocky Mountain Champs and National Runners-Up, face, wildly popular men's sextet from Boulder, will be on hand to entertain our audience also, with a special set of newly polished material presented in their most recent Las Vegas appearance. Members of face will introduce each of the groups and will provide a short musical program while the judges are selecting the seven individual and group awards to be presented at the finale.

This situation is unprecedented in recent experience, but 'showbiz' history is famous for its resilience, best recognized in the familiar expression, "The show must go on!"  The sponsor and producers assure you that the quality program our audience is expecting will be presented for its always enthusiastic reception next Saturday evening at Ranum Auditorium.

GREETINGS A CAPPELLA FANS!

This is our official 2008 Harmony Sweepstakes Report, updating you on what happened last Saturday evening at Ranum Auditorium in Denver.

AND THE 2008 WINNERS ARE:
GROUP AWARDS
Rocky Mountain Champion — Legacy, Lubbock TX
Rocky Mountain Runner Up — NeXus, Denver, CO
Rocky Mountain Audience Favorite — Plumbers of Rome, Longmont CO
Rocky Mountain Best Stage Presentation — Plumbers of Rome, Longmont CO

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Deke Sharon Best Arrangement — Ike Graul for "Here With Us", Legacy
Jeff Harris Best Original Song — Phil Thompson for "The Egotist", Curious Gage
Jerry Lawson Best Soloist — Jake Lierman for "Here With Us", Legacy
Wes Carroll Best Vocal Percussion — Nick Gaultney for "This Little Light", Legacy

As you can see, "Legacy", from the state of Texas, took half of the awards offered (hence the "swept" comment above). The group, a gospel styled quintet (their photo will be updated), not only excelled in individual talent, but performed especially well in ensemble, with strong harmonies and excellent blend. The judges recognized these attributes very quickly. The other half of our awards also went to some very talented singers and groups.

Not-so-traditional barbershop quartet, "NeXus" was Runner-Up making exceptionally beautiful sounds and were also very entertaining to watch. Most provocative and innovative was no doubt the trio "Plumbers of Rome" in their third Rocky Mountain appearance in as many years, taking both Best Stage Presentation and Audience Favorite awards.

Phil Thompson of Curious Gage (Champions two years ago) took the Best Song award, while Legacy singers Ike Graul, Jake Lierman and Nick Gaultney zeroed in on Best Arrangement, Best Soloist and Best Vocal Percussion respectively.

Overall, as I believe audience members will attest, it was a talented and energetic roster of performers who had worked very hard to provide entertaining and innovative programs. If you were there, you will understand what I'm talking about.

For contact with any of the groups, please go to www.cvjs.org which reports the above information and background for each group.

The Sweeps program also provided the opportunity for CVJS to present its service to the community award called "A Cappella Impact."

Tim Jones, former Utah CASA Ambassador and founder of moosebutter, who has been attending University of Colorado in Boulder in pursuit of his Masters degree, was the recipient. Tim has been hugely active in every aspect of Colorado a cappella during his stay here, but has now migrated to Las Vegas to perform with nationally known Toxic Audio and assist with production of their ongoing show at Planet Hollywood. Our best wishes to Tim.

And here our our 2008 Rocky Mountain Champions,
LEGACY

. . and many thanks to our 2007 Champs, f a c e
for a year of excitement and accomplishment.

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are just now getting over the excitement of the Harmony Sweeps, what a show!!

Something else exciting happened in our community this weekend and I feel compelled to share it with you.  Colorado A Cappella, the newest organization encouraging and promoting all-vocal music, has received national recognition from CASA for its role in the a cappella community here in Colorado.

We have been announced as a recipient of the Jonathan Minkoff A Cappella Award!  This award was open to anyone to apply for and Colorado A Cappella was chosen for its commitment and dedication to education.  Please go to http://www.casa.org to read the full article which describes the winners in detail.

The purpose for our grant application was to launch a new program call the Colorado Vocal Educators.  Beginning in September, the Colorado Vocal Educators will be visiting middle and high schools around the state educating them about their future in a cappella and what lies ahead of them to explore in the a cappella world.  Go to our website http://www.coloradoacappella.com to read more about the program.

If you are interested in learning more about what Colorado A Cappella does as an organization or would like to get involved in the Vocal Educators program, go to the website or please shoot me an email at

Subject: Naturally 7 -- Burning up the Road with Bublé!
rjsharette
Send Email Send Email

Why Naturally 7 probably won't make it to Colorado as soon as expected:

Fans of the great New York guy group "Naturally Seven" may be shocked to learn of the popular septet's unlikely highway disaster late last week while in Europe opening for Michael Bublé on his very successful (and continuing) tour.

Manager Andrew Lefowwits reported back to his Colorado contacts that life has been a bit complicated lately, at least in the travel sense. He tells us, "Yes, we did have a bit of an issue with the bus. . .  It burned down."

Naturally 7's Tourbus pretty well disintegrates on a European highway

Not one to overstate issues, Andrew (former member and manager of the great New England group, ""Five O'Clock Shadow" who have come to Colorado many times to enthusiastic reception), neverthless seemed a bit dismayed by the situation. He reports, "We were all asleep when the driver started shouting to 'Get off the bus!' -- It was pretty scary, but everyone made it off okay. Lost a lot of stuff, but we're still on the tour."

A shot from the rear shows pretty clearly what's not left on the bus!

One could consider this a classic commentary on "the show must go on," but the "how" and "when" come into play pretty forcefully when your only mode of transporation disintegrates under you. But, indeed, Andrew goes on,

"We are still on the Bublé tour. We'll be with him until late July with some of our own work in the off times. We finish this leg on Saturday (3/22) and then do another month in the US, but it looks like the stop in Denver with face isn't going to work -- that would have been great though -- we'll try to do it later. After a couple of summer weeks off, we head to Australia for a month, followed by some of our own shows in Canada, then back to Europe for some festivals and more Bublé shows.

"This tour has been great for us. Everyone is incredibly friendly and Michael has really taken to the group. He is about as down to earth as anyone who has sold 15 million records could be. He's certainly been kind to us and seems interested in helping us making it big time . . . the show really seems comfprtable. We lean more toward our pop/AC songs and not as much with the hip-hop/urban stuff, but it works -- standing ovations every night. We're also selling lots of CDs, so we can't complain about that either. The key will be to turn it into some further success of our own."

Mark Megibow of face had been trying to help bring Naturally Seven to Colorado and expressed disappointment in the development, but was not surprised. "It was a kind of long shot, but we would love to do a show in Colorado with that calibre of group. I'm sure it would draw a lot of new audience for both them and face. Let's see what happens when they're back in the US for a longer period."

So Colorado fans will have to wait a bit longer to catch this exciting and relatively new group. Their only 2008 shows even close are with Michael Bublé on:
27 Apr 2008: Quest Center, Omaha, NE
29 Apr 2008: Santa Ana Star Center, Albuquerke, NM
30 April 2008: Tucson Convention Center, Tucson, AZ

Andrew, who has roots in Denver, was trying to set up a passing-through April 28 show here, but they have their hands full it looks like. We'll keep a look-out for them though, and you may enjoy taking a closer look on your own:

PIPES AND DRUMS A cappella groups like the Tufts Beelzebubs perform on their own strings, adding backup percussion as needed.

He sang a few songs, including Gladys Knight and the Pips’ “Midnight Train to Georgia,” which Mr. Coulton performed without any musical accompaniment, save for a handful of fellow Yale graduates harmonizing behind him on a refrain of “doo bee doo bee doo.” “This was not planned,” said Mr. Coulton, 37, a musician who lives in Brooklyn, “though the singing was assumed.” As a senior at Yale, he had been a member of the Whiffenpoofs, the all-star singing group that performs a cappella and recruits its roster from other campus teams that also sing unaccompanied. “Get a couple of Whiffs together,” Mr. Coulton said, “and try to stop us.” He does not often talk about his past as a member of a collegiate a cappella group. “There is a stigma associated with a cappella,” he said with a laugh, adding that he admits to this bit of his résumé only “when someone outs me.”

Collegiate a cappella is a tradition that goes back to the early days of the Whiffenpoofs, founded in 1909; it now includes more than 1,200 groups on campuses from Appalachian State to the University of Oregon, according to the Contemporary A Capella Society. It is a curious genre, one that makes sense under an ivy-strewn archway only to become inexplicable upon graduation. For some, a cappella may be a gateway to a career in the performing arts (as it was for Anne Hathaway, John Legend and Art Garfunkel). It can also be a lingering embarrassment to those who cannot grasp how a dozen or so singers making drum noises with their mouths might look to an outsider.

“There’s something about a cappella that rubs a lot of people the wrong way,” said Mr. Coulton, who performed on world tours with the Whiffenpoofs and on an album called “Take a Whiff.”  “When you’re in it,” he said, “you do think you’re a rock star. But you have to ignore the majority of the population who don’t want you singing jazz standards at their dinner.”

For alumni of these singing groups, membership is a lifelong obligation. “It’s like being in a fraternity, but not,” said Peter Lerangis, 52, a children’s book author and an alumnus of the Krokodiloes, a Harvard a cappella group, who continues to edit the group’s alumni newsletter, Nunc est Cantandum (meaning “Now is the time to sing”). “It’s like being on a sports team, but not. The bond of music is just different.” Other veterans aren’t as eager to admit to evenings spent in jacket and tie, singing Madonna covers without instruments. “A cappella — I thought it might catch up with me,” said James Van Der Beek, the “Dawson’s Creek” star and former member of 36 Madison Avenue, a singing group at Drew University. “I couldn’t play an instrument well enough to be in a band, so I thought, O.K., this sounds like something I should look into,” Mr. Van Der Beek said. And yes, membership had its privileges. “A girl heard me sing ‘Englishman in New York’ and I got to, like, go to her dorm room to give her our CD.” But now, he seemed less enthusiastic about those exploits. “I can’t believe I’m talking about this,” he said.

Whenever a cappella is mentioned in pop culture (see the comedy “The Break-Up,” in which Vince Vaughn is beaten up by an a cappella group; the bio for Stephen Colbert’s broadcast persona, which claims that he performed a cappella in a Dartmouth group called the Sing Dynasty; or the recent dismissal from “American Idol” of Luke Menard, who also sang a cappella), it is almost always a shorthand for rampant geekiness. On the NBC sitcom “The Office,” the grating Andy Bernard, a character played by Ed Helms, often reminds co-workers that he once performed with a Cornell group called Here Comes Treble.

Mr. Helms said the show’s satire of a cappella was all in good fun, though he still bears the scars of his own brief encounter with the art form: in 1993, he said, he quit the Oberlin Obertones after one semester because of a personality clash with the group’s music director. “I decided smoking pot was more important than extracurricular activities,” he said.
Taken to an extreme, dislike and mistrust of a cappella has even led to violence: a 2007 fight outside a New Year’s Eve party in San Francisco — instigated, allegedly, by an impromptu performance of the national anthem by the Baker’s Dozen, a men’s a cappella group from Yale — sent several members to the hospital.

But many alumni eventually learn to embrace their musical identities. When Bruce Cohen, an Oscar-winning producer of “American Beauty,” graduated from Yale in 1983, he was certain he had made a clean break from the Baker’s Dozen and would never return for its shows, or jams. “In my day,” he said, “you kept in touch with your friends, but you wouldn’t be caught dead going back to the B.D. Jam. You went on with your life.” In January 1992, Mr. Cohen received a call from a friend who told him their old group was performing in Pasadena, Calif. “This was shocking to us,” Mr. Cohen said. “That the B.D.’s could afford a plane trip in our day was unimaginable. We went to Florida — and we drove! From Connecticut! In vans!”

When the group returned to the Los Angeles area in 1993, Mr. Cohen invited it to perform at his annual Christmas party, as he has done every year since. He maintains a strict no-talking policy during the annual concert, and regularly wangles celebrities like Jim Carrey and Marisa Tomei into attending. “When they get here and they go into the bedroom and get a private concert from the B.D.’s, they’re loving it,” he said. “Hilary Swank fell in love with them.”

There are now increasing numbers of post-college outlets for enthusiasts who aren’t ready to stop snapping their fingers in unison with friends. Last August Deke Sharon, founder of the Contemporary A Cappella Society, created a league for recovering singers, with some 25 groups across the country. “Five thousand collegiate a cappella singers graduate every spring,” he said. “What are their options? Church choirs and karaoke.”

Sara Yood, 26, an alumna of the Washington University Amateurs, continues to perform with a women’s group called Treble. For Ms. Yood, who discovered the group four years ago while searching for “a cappella” on Craigslist, it is more a social outlet than a way to make money. “In college, a cappella was about competing and recording and rehearsing three nights a week,” she said. “But this is low key. We all have lives.”

The collegiate groups expect the occasional teasing that comes with their brand of entertainment. “There will always be people who say a cappella is stupid,” said Alexander Koutzoukis, 20, music director of the Tufts Beelzebubs. “We like to think what we do is different.” He and his group had just performed a short set (including a medley of Kanye West’s “Stronger” and Christina Aguilera’s “Fighter”) at the Chelsea offices of EMI at the invitation of a Beelzebubs alum, Marty Fernandi, who works in the company’s music resources department. The EMI staff had, of course, experienced its share of live music. But the Bubs, as they call themselves, still managed to impress with their manic energy. “After the show, the C.O.O. told us this was one of the best performances he’d seen in that setting,” Mr. Koutzoukis said proudly. “And they’re used to seeing the original artists.” Indeed, some performers who make peace with their pasts in a cappella go on to become respected artists in their own right.

On a recent Friday night, two hours before a show at the Beacon Theater, Sara Bareilles, the writer and performer of the pop hit “Love Song,” sat in her cluttered tour bus. As Ms. Bareilles, 28, took a swig from a bottle of Corona, her guitarist, Javier Dunn, recalled the first time he saw her perform. It was years ago, he said, at a U.C.L.A. student talent show called Spring Sing, where she appeared with a campus group called Awaken A Cappella. “Sara sang that George Michael song ‘Freedom,’ ” Mr. Dunn said, not quite concealing a smile. “The girls all wore leather, like a biker chick thing.”

“Be honest,” Ms. Bareilles said. “You hated it.” She said that Awaken A Cappella had played a crucial role in her coed life. “It’s so goofy,” she said, “but I felt like I’d found my family at school.”

Mr. Dunn continued his inquest. “When I think of a cappella I picture drama students and nerds,” he said.

Ms. Bareilles shook her head. “You love action figures!” she said to Mr. Dunn. “Why can’t you let us sing and be happy?”

To: Colorado College and Avocational A Cappella groups:

This sounds like a great opportunity. It's endorsed by CASA, so it's likely to be a very cooperative and competent partner in your web-associated endeavors. I know it's difficult for many groups to identify and secure economical and user-friendly service. This may be your path to better communications. Please report back on your experience with "Acappella Hosting" so we can notify others in our 40+ group community and the rest of our 700 <colorado-acappella> subscribers.

Here's their CASA post:

Acappella Hosting is a web hosting company with a twist: we only provide our services to a cappella groups, both collegiate and professional. Why did I start this company? Because I saw the need through both the group I sing with and also through the other groups I've met over the years.

Over the last few months however, Acappella Hosting has gained considerable ground in the community. We have over 20 collegiate and professional clients and we offer world class service that you normally would have to pay hundreds of dollars for with other companies.

Whether you are looking to just host your website for a fraction of the price you are paying now, or would like us to help design, create, and implement a website for your group, Acappella Hosting is the company to choose.

Whatever your budget we can fit to it, the most important thing is that we are here to help you expand your exposure both on and off stage and we do this by having one-on-one discussions with your members on how to work publicity networks, both public and private. We even set up Facebook, Myspace, and other social networking pages for your group once you sign up. The value here isn't matched anywhere else.

Also for college and other school-associated groups, please ask about our SUMMER DEFERRAL program.. which means while school is out, or when your group isn't performing you don't have to pay the full monthly cost! All that gets charged is a $1.99 service fee which helps cover our cost of operations.

I want you to know that I'm really excited about the possibility of partnering with your group. I give you my guarantee that I will personally oversee your account from start to finish and ensure you get the best quality service that Acappella Hosting can offer. That is why I'm offering discounted hosting and services for the first five months to the first 20 groups who sign with Acappella Hosting in 2008 -- and any other successful group referrals you provide could permanently extend your discounts! All I ask in return is your support through referring Acappella Hosting to others with whom you come in contact. You really can't lose!

We have clients all over the US and recently Canada. We are looking to expand to cover a cappella groups from countries around the world.

Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon!

"We're here to help build the community, and with your help we can make it happen!"

To Whom It May Concern,
I am emailing a plea for help in finding an A Cappella group to perform at my wedding on June 14th.  Unfortunately Tim Jones booked me with Moosebutter in November and failed to inform me that Moosebutter dissolved and he moved to Las Vegas.  I am stuck without any entertainment and nervous that the best groups are booked for that date.

I was very much interested in FACE but their rates are a bit too high.  Perhaps a CU group that might be staying for the summer?!

Can anyone please help point me in the right direction?  Please?

Thank you.
