A few weeks ago I met Jon Hiseman for the second time. I went to his
house and came back with his archive - it filled my mate's estate
car. There were ten of those big plastic office boxes. I am going
through it now and it's proving to be a massive job. This before I
even start writing. I am flattered that Jon has entrusted me with it.

One thing I have done is to compile a work schedule or gig list from
the date sheets. I prefer the former as I have recording and
rehearsal dates in there. I will be sending this to Jon shortly.

I have contacted the guys and I am getting replies to my request for
interviews. It's very early to say how the book is going to look but
as the offshoots are massive I am focusing on Jon. There will be a
chapter on his early life and then I will go into Bond , Fame and
Mayall. I envisage half the book will be on Colosseum 68-71. I will
also cover Tempest, Colosseum 2 and will end the book with Colosseum
post 94.

I haven't approached a publisher yet but as this is my fourth book I
don't see many problems, coupled with the fact that this is the
first book on the band. I have a publisher in mind but he is ill at
the moment.

Is there anybody out there who has Colosseum's US releases? I need
track listings. Also, is there anybody who saw them in the US in 69?
