RE: [Conklin Instrument Owners] Bill Dickens' Jolly Rancher 9

Pete,
Well I helped build it so I got to play it a little. The spacing is
15mm which is what Jean's Pac-Man is (and probably his other but I don't
remember for sure. It is definitely tighter spacing than the average 17mm
spacing on a 7 string. Which for me feels better but I'm a guitar player.

Mike

Subject: [Conklin Instrument Owners] Bill Dickens' Jolly Rancher 9

Hi Everyone,
I've got a few questions for all of you who have had the chance to
play this bass. From the pictures I've seen, the spacing looks a bit
on the narrow side. It doesn't look much wider than some 7 strings.
How comfortable are the neck dimensions? Does anyone know what the
spacing is exactly? I've been running ideas through my head for a
custom 9 and I was thinking of a tighter spacing than normal. Any
comments will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Pete
