RE: [Conklin Instrument Owners] news on my 10

Calm down Mark, your bass will be the next thing coming out of the
Conklin shop. I just wet sanded it last week and will be buffing it tomorrow
and then it will go together. I hope to get it done early next week. Things
have been kind of hectic this weekend and will be for the next week. My
x-stepbrother died this weekend. Things have been kind of weird being the go
between for my father and x-stepmother.
Denson your basses are about at the same point as Stew's we have the
Body for your MEU done and ready for painting we just need to do the inlay.
The neck for your MEU is glued-up and has the fingerboard on it. It still
needs to be carved but it is getting there. The Fretless has the Neck
glued-up and the fingerboard on it and Bill has glued up the top. We just
need to glue on the wings and attach the top.
Stew your bass has the neck glued up with the fingerboard glued on
and fretted. The headstock cap is glued on. We still need to get the wings
on it.
I apologize that everything is taking so long with the orders but we
just have so many orders right now all we can do is breathe and get them
done as fast as we can. I wish there was more we could do but there just
isn't.
We appreciate you guys being patient and I assure you they will be
worth the wait.

Mike
