I just thought I would join in on the Conklin action when I stumbled
across this group by accident. I have played Conklin exclusively
for more than 6 years and I have no plans on playing anything other
than a Conklin. Right now I only have a GT-7 but it has become
my "bitch". lol I normally play over 250 gigs a year and this bass
has been on ALL of them with me. Talk about reliable! I fell in
love with it the first time I laid my hands on it and I have a hard
time keeping my hands off of it. Bill Conklin offerend me an
endorsement a year ago but I never got another bass from him... at
least not yet... because I am just so used to my "bitch". I guess
I will have to break down and get another one some day soon as I
know I will have to put the "bitch" in the shop for some love. The
toughest thing I will have to face when I order a new one is going
to be deciding on which options I want... as there are MANY as you
all know. Gotta love BC! Great luthier, great guy.

Anyway, I guess I should stop here so as not to burn the retinas out
of your eyes.

I shall post again soon... just not as long as a message! lol

hey Gage, good to hear from you! I was a big fan of my GT-7, but to be honest it can't hold a torch to my custom shop instrument (soon to be instruments!). I'm...
