What gauge for F# for 7-string

Next question... Now I am confused about what gauge to use for the F#
and who I should get it from. Conklin has a .165 (S.I.T. Power Steel)
and a .150 (Snakeskin). However, in some forums I have read that
a .170 or more would be better.

Would appreciate info. Also would like to know where I can get F#
other than the S.I.T.s and Snakeskins.
