Thanks for the infoeStew. I called La Bella and GHS. Neither has
a .165 gauge or bigger. I think that LaBella (or was it D'Addario)
said that they could do something on a custom basis but that it
would be very expensive.

I emailed knuckleguitarworks.com and got a response from Skip. He wrote tat he had .180 gauge F# string and recommended that over Conklin's .160 gauge. Does...

Skip has done extensive research into the subharmonic range and into what it takes to reproduce those tones. I trust him but haven't tried the strings. Stew ...
