Description
This is a forum for Conn guitar owners and enthusiasts. Pretty much anything is discussed about Conn guitars. Conn (now Conn-Selmer) contracted the manufacturing of high quality acoustic guitars in Japan factories (Aria and perhaps others) from 1969-70, until 1978, and electric guitars at least in 1979 or 1980. A Conn "unofficial" web site exists at http://thejetmedic.com/connguitars.aspx, and is operated and maintained by Joe Brock--the moderator of this forum.
Conn-Selmer, the current conglomerate from which Conn has its roots, has no history on the Conn Guitars line of instruments. The moderator began researching the Conn guitar line in about Spring of 2007, in an effort to provide a free informational web site with good reliable data and facts about Conn guitars. Today the site contains a lot of information for those seeking it--thanks to the combined research of the site owner, and those Conn owners and enthusiasts who have provided information.
This forum is primarily for the sharing of information and discussion. However, you should also feel free to discuss buying and selling--but the moderator takes no responsibility for transactions entered into between individuals as the result of information shared on this forum. Please use common sense and know your buyer/seller.
NO HARRASSING / NO PROFANITY POLICY
Absolutely no profanity or derogatory comments are allowed. The intent of the forum is to allow the free exchange of information related to owning, buying, selling, or loving Conn guitars. With that charter, I can see no reason to color language with expletives, or to insult another individual. Complaints relative to this policy will be dealt with immediately, and profane or harrassing comments will be deleted.
