I use this shaper for my contraforte and it works great. No complaints at all. I've given a couple used CF reeds to Michel Jolivet in Seattle for him to use

When I saw Lew Lipnick last year, he had large contraforte reeds, but had me try it with my reeds on a different bocal that accomodated regular sized contra

You can get a contraforte shaper from Georg Rieger. Its significantly larger than the Contra shapers (and more expensive as well)

In music we have a (rough) standard of A=440. In the gouges we use for making reeds it is the Wild West. For bassoon 1 inch seems to be a standard( In mm I
