Re: words can't express the emptiness I

When Butch walked into a place everyone felt the
whirlwind of energy, he had a dynamic character. He was a
friend to whomever his path crossed. We all have so many
great memories of Butch. Butch was the life of every
gathering, he was always social, and embracing us with his
love. He had a natural talent for music; his ear was
tuned like no other. Butch played his drums from his
soul, letting every listner feel his intensity,
surrounded by his brothers, Bash, Darren, and Alex.
Cottonmouth was Butch's passion. Words could never be
adequate in describing Butch, he was a force, a spirit oso
kind, considerate, and true. No one ever had to wonder
what Butch was feeling, he wore his heart on his
sleeve for all of us to know and love. Butch was Wendy's
soulmate, lover, provider, and best friend. He was a
perfect dad to Allen, Zach, and little Justin Lee. His
love for his family was great, his loyalty to them
indescribable. How our hearts break knowing without Butch
nothing will ever be the same, get comforted in the
thought that Butch would want us to remeber him with
memories of all the great times, the music, the parties,
gigs, and he would want us to embrace his memory the
way he lived - for the day, trusting in the future
goodness of all who loved him. ~Becky Gruen

I would
like to thank everyone for all they have done during
this trying time. What Beck wrote was the perfect
description of Butch and I thank her with all my heart for
writing something so beautiful, knowing how hard all of
this is on everyone! I'm still in a state of sho
