Re: [Cowboy Music] I'm back in the saddle again (Finally!)

Hi

Well, I really wasn't sure you'd want to hear from me, but here goes. I was
so proud to see the wonderful work you are doing with your music. I always knew
when God said the time was right you'd be in the right place.

I hope all is well with you and your mother.

Love in Christ

Howdy pards,
well after much wrangling, waiting, and other assorted frustrations,
I'm finally back online with new high speed cable internet. I still
don't have a land line, but will be getting a new phone through the
cable co in a couple of weeks or so. I'm still out pickin and
grinnin, and will be at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County in
Waxahachie on May 6 for their monthly show (for those that can't
make it, you can listen over kbec.com) and of course the radio show
continues to be webcast each week. I am seriously looking for a good
booking agent, and I'm starting to believe they have become the
newest member of the endangered species list! Publicists are easy to
find, and many do their job extremely well, but the good old
fashioned agent, the kind who makes money by making you money seems
to be hanging out with the loch ness monster and bigfoot. If Anyone
knows of any such agent who is taking on new clients, and is skilled
at booking Western acts, please get in touch with me via e-mail, as
I would be thrilled to speak to them. I recently moved my mom here
to Louisiana so I can look after her, and have had to go back to
playing rent a cop for the moment to help keep the lights on, and
would much rather be out pickin and grinning full time again. I had
it down for a few months, but with the move, and rapid cash
depletion that entails, it just weren't enough. Oh well, enough of
the soapbox here, I just wanted to let everyone know I'm back in the
saddle, and things are looking up, and hopefully I'll see you may 6,
if not you can at least tune in (times to be posted soon)

'til later,
Buck
