Howdy Ryszard. Here's what I found:
SAILOR
Fini Busch, Werner Scharfenberger, David West
Petula Clark
Sailor stop your roaming
Sailor, leave the sea
Sailor, when the tide turns
Come home safe to me
As you sail across the sea
All my love is there beside you
In Capri or Amsterdam
Honolulu or Siam To the harbour of my heart
I will send my love to guide you
As I call across the sea
Come home to me
Sailor stop your roaming
Sailor, leave the sea
Sailor, when the tide turns
Come home safe to me

and recording
Howdy you allI'm looking for very old (50 y. approx) song, called "Saylor" sung
by awoman. It had not lyrics typical for cowboy or country&western ballades,
butit's melody was as country music style melodies in the 50. years of the
XXcentury. I can remember the chords for this song are very simple (A, D, E)but
not as simple as for Jambalaya. Is anybody who knows this song and who has MP 3?
I'm also looking for MP3 of "Ol' Man River" sung by Paul Robson. Ryszard
