We are all ready to watch this celestial firework on Independence
Day, the day that Amilcar's name will make impact with the comet
Temple 1 after NASA's officials confirmed that Deep Impact is on
time for its impact slated for this 4th of July.

Unfortunately this event will be visible only from the Pacific :(

Deep Impact spacecraft, launched on January from Cape Canaveral
aboard a Delta II rocket, have been traveling 431 million kilometers
(268 million miles) to the vicinity of comet Tempel 1 to conduct
scientific experiments. The spacecraft is carrying the name of the
New Age artist Amilcar saved on a disc aboard the impactor of the
Deep Impact spacecraft.

Amilcar's album Vacuuming the Forest was pre-released on
CdBaby.com and Amazon.com just days before the official release date
of May 19,2005 that took place at the historical Park Central hotel
at the heart of the Art Deco District in South Beach, Florida.
