HammerFall, confirmed for a gig in Ulricehamn, Sweden 2007-01-15

HAMMERFALL CONFIRMED FOR THE 700TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CITY OF
ULRICEHAMN.
On July 28th HammerFall will perform at Sjuhäradsfestivalen as a part
of the celebrations of Ulricehamn's 700 years as a city. Tickets and
other information can be found www.sjuharadsfestivalen.se and
www.700ar.se. Come on over to Ulricehamn and help us celebrate the
city!


HammerFall coming to the U.K. and Ireland 2006-12-23

A Christmas present to U.K. and Irish metal fans, it has now been
confirmed that "At the Threshold of...Europe 2007" package will
continue to the Isles towards the end of February. HammerFall will
bring Krokus and the Poodles for the band's first U.K. tour on the
following dates:

February 20th; The Electric Ballroom, London
February 21st: The Garage, Glasgow
February 22nd; Temple Bar Music Centre, Dublin
February 23rd; Bradford Rio, Bradford
February 24th; JB's, Dudley


Second Z7 show added 2006-12-18

Due to great ticket sales for the Pratteln show on February 4th,
another show has been added at the same venue the next day, February
5th. This happens virtually every time HammerFall plays in Pratteln,
and the band has promised to make it worthwhile for those of you who
attend both nights.


Finland postponed, Joacim having surgery! 2006-11-30

Due to Joacim undergoing an operation in December, the Finland shows
have been postponed. New dates made available momentarily. Here's
what Joacim has to say:

"After a couple of months of serious vocal problems my doctor finally
tracked down the root of all evil. On my right vocal cord he found a
polyp that affected both my speaking and singing voice. Lately I have
lost almost one octave of my natural (high) range and I can promise
you that it's been very frustrating. So, next week it's time for my
doctor's magic hands to sharpen the scalpel and do surgery on "my
precious" cords. After the surgery I have to shut up for at least 7
days - gonna be hard! - followed by some professional vocal training
in order to build up the strenght again. The tour will start as
planned, in Denmark on January 18, but unfortunatelly the shows in
Finland have been postponed to a later date and all promotional work
including me, have been cancelled.

Support bands confirmed 2006-11-21

The Finnish gigs on January will see Altaria open up for HammerFall.
As for the following European tour (check the tour page for more
details), Swiss legends Krokus and Swedish newcomers The Poodles
complete the bill.


Finland added 2006-11-02

The premiere of At the Threshold of...Europe will take place in
Finland. Two shows have been announced:

January 11th: Tavastia, Helsinki
January 12th: Pakkahuone, Tampere


#1 again! 2006-10-26

With "Threshold", HammerFall has just entered the Swedish chart on
position 1. This is the band's first #1 since "Renegade" in 2000, and
among others distanced were multi-million seller Roxette.


Signing tour 2006-10-13

Starting on Wednesday, October 18th, HammerFall will travel around
Sweden signing albums for a couple of days. It all begins with a kick
off party at Club Backstage in Umeå on October 17th, and here's the
rest of the schedule:

October 18th: Rocks, Umeå; 17:00
October 19th: Skivbörsen, Västerås; 15:00
October 19th: Najz Prajz, Örebro; 17:30
October 20th: Kringlan Skivor, Södertälje; 15:00
October 20th: Bengans, Stockholm; 17:00
October 21st: Bengans, Göteborg; 14:00

The release party on the 21st, at Trägårn in Göteborg, begins at
20:30, wih Rundgång's Melker and Mattias as DJ:s, and at ten heavy
metal band Dreamland plays HammerFall songs on stage.
