Hi all,

My 2 year old daughter has given me inspiration:

She is a huge fan of the BBC children's programme Balamory & has a DVD
of "Josie Jump" - one of the characters from the series.

Such is her attachment that she has sometimes insisted on carrying the
DVD around the house.

This has resulted in the DVD becoming slightly corrupted in places,
resulting in pixelation, skipping & stuttering. In one sequence near the
end of the DVD, a burst of pixels emerges from Josie Jump & surrounds
her like some wierd halo.

Even better is a DVD she has of "The Wiggles" an Australian produced
DVD. This has suffered a similar fate & even locks up on a couple of
occasions. I am hoping to be able to get a screenshot of one of these
lock-ups as it produces the most amazing pattern.

I suppose that the same techniques that have been applied to CDs that
have been discussed here previously, could be applied to DVDs as well...

Gavin.
