Friends,

Boiled in Lead played last night at First Avenue, and had a great time. Mark
Stillman and
Savage Aural Hotbed (check the links section in the box on the left) opened.
There was some
video taken and I'm eager to see that. SAH also accompanied us on a couple of
numbers: a
set of slipjigs and polkas, and a set of polskas. What fun! I hope we can do
more
collaberating with them.

Next week, I'll be playing with the Robb Henry trio ( guitar, bass, and violin)
at the Loring
Pasta Bar from 6 to 9:30. Very similar repertoire to Honeysuckle Rose: Django
Reinhardt/
Stephane Grapelli Hot Club tunes. A couple of years ago I played with Robb's
group Parisota
Hot Club when their violinist Raphael went home to Paris for the summer.
