Hey all-

a bit of somber news this week....

Many of you know J. Robbins from Gov't Issue, Jawbox, Burning Airlines,
Channels, and countless albums he has produced, and engineered. He has been, and
continues to be, an important part of our punk rock community.

He and his wife Janet had their first child, Cal, last January. This past
September Cal was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Type 1. This is an
often fatal disease, that will prevent him from ever being able to walk.

Needless to say, this has been tough for J and Janet. Plus, they are also having
to face the reality of huge medical bills. Not an easy thing on an Indie
producer's income.

With that in mind, Kim and Bill of Desoto Records (and Jawbox bandmates) set up
a fund for J and Janet to help offset these mounting medical bills.
