another week, another list. come n' git it!

I have posted the 3 remaining performances of Taffety Punk's "Cardenio Found".
"...raw, immediate, and visceral… in

On the political front, I was unable to attend the hearing Wednesday for the
"Protection and Safety of Underage Persons Amendment Act of 2007", or as it is
now being referred to as the "Taleshia Ford Memorial Amendment Act of 2007". I
really want to hear from anyone who was able to make it. i am planning on
sending another round of letters to Jim Graham, and Mayor Fenty. please do the
same.

go to ArtOMatic. it is a great show. 90,000 sq. ft of art, how can you miss. it
is an easy metro ride to crystal city. Plus it is free (donations accepted)one
exhibitor made a chair out of 40,000 aluminum soda can pull tabs. how's that for
recycling? www.artomatic.org for more info.

good job to all you bands that sent in stuff to fort reno. beth tells me they
got a pretty hefty load this year. shaping up to be another great season of
shows.

i'll ask again about the Jawbox posters. i got a bunch from kim that I want to
sell to benefit Cal Robbins. I received one suggestion to sell them at the
D-Plan benefit show, which is a possibility. I guess the big question is price.
what would you be willing to pay for an original silk screened poster? remember
it is for a good cause (ALL the money goes to Cal). would you pay more for an
autographed poster (i can probably get 3 of the 4 members)? Let me know.
