Hey All-

BIG list this week. the winter schedule seems to fleshing out.

Double wammy hit the DC area this week. First, Strangeland Records decides it is
going to close up shop. Then, Orpheus follows suit. Dang and double dang. I used
to go to Orpheus all the time as a kid. I have to admit it has been a while
since i made the trip. i didn't even know that he had moved to Clarendon until
Bill over at Crooked Beat told me.
I must also admit that I never made it to Strageland. That said, they were
always putting on all ages shows, which makes them great in my book.

both shall be missed. go check them out before they close the doors for good.

Crooked Beat and Smash are fast becoming the last spots for a good indie record
shops. Crooked Beat has been putting on a few good shows of late. Always free,
always all ages. there are a couple posted on the list this week (one tomorrow).
Go check them out. there are good folks.
