pretty hectic week here at list central. a lot going on, so let't get to it.

Artomatic opens this Friday (today) May 9th. it is open starting at noon.
admission is always free. It is located at 1200 First Street, NE. just take the
metro to the NY Ave station (one stop north of Union Station). it is a one block
walk from the train, and you can see the building from the train platform. if
anyone is interested, my wife and I built a camera obscura. Bbasically a giant
pinhole camera, but it is an 8 x 8 room. we are on the 7th floor, south east
corner. www.artomatic.org

the other thing i wanted to mention is the impending fate of polaroid film. the
parent company of polaroid has announced that they will cease production of ALL
polaroid film at the end of the year. for old skool photo junkies like me, this
is brutal. they already stopped making my favorite film. you can get the whole

seriously, i feel like I am losing a lifelong friend here. ugh.
