Well, I hope a great many of you were able to make it to the last show of the
season at Fort Reno tonight. A big round of applause, and a hearty thank you to
Amanda and her core of volunteers that were able to make this season happen
again. Money was tight, but they made it work.

The Fly-Bys, Guided by Vices, Blonde on Blonde, Bad Medicine, Cherry
Bombz, ShamWow!, and Michael Jacksiotone.

$10 Mainstage, doors at 9pm – music at 9:30pm. Benefit for Fort Reno.

Also, it seems that DC Mini Gallery (recent addition to the list) has been cited
for lacking permits, and annoying the neighbors. So, any shows that were
scheduled for that venue, are no longer scheduled. I know the guys running it
were trying to help out the bands to find new locations, but....

BTW - anyone have a Venue for the Steady State around Aug 5th.? They are one of
the bands put out by the Mini Gallery closing, and they are going to be in the
area on tour from Florida. Let me know, and I will pass the info on to the band.

Ok, gotta run. The list *might* be on hiatus next week (outta town), so don't go
