DeathrockDE is a bilingual (English and German) list for freaks interested in Deathrock, Gothic Rock, (Horror-) Punk, New Wave, Minimal Electro / Angst Pop and related stuff to get together in one online community. Reviews and playlists, club and gig announcements, events and news, not to mention general discussions, will be the objective of DeathrockDE. Labels and musicians are welcome to promote their bands. With members from all over the world DeathrockDE doesn't solely focus on the German scene.

It was the home of Mephisto Walz, Malaria, Mask For, EA 80, Asmodi Bizarr, X Mal Deutschland, II. Invasion, Stimmen Der Stille, Leningrad Sandwich, Die Unbekannten, Der Fluch, Marquee Moon and many more legends come and gone.

Fate Fatal (The Deep Eynde):
"Dave Grave's mom was my Spanish teacher in 1980. I remember going to school, I was about 11 years old... and there was this guy who wore all black, with a pale face, kind of like Lux Interior of the Cramps. Back then, especially where I lived there was not a lot of people who looked like him. I remember my Spanish teacher said that she was going to The Whisky A GoGo to see her son's band [Voodoo Church] that night and she was excited. The next day when I asked her how the show was... she looked like she was a little in shock. She told me that there was a coffin, and there was maggots all over his face. I would have to say, that was my first deathrock experience."
