Always churning out new sounds, you never know what you are going to get at a
5EH show. One minute it can be rocking swinging jazz, the next some nasty dirty
madness, or the band can swiftly move into a acoustic sing along. Straight from
Santa Cruz, The summer of 2008 brought the band to High Sierra Music Festival,
Harmony Festival and Bobolink. During their psychedelic jazz journey Five Eyed
Hand has had the great pleasure of jamming with Fareed Haque, Eric Levy, Jeff
Miller, Eric McFadden, Trevor Garrod, James Whiton, Garaj Mahal, Izabella and
Blue Turtle Seduction. This band is capable of anything and are often joined by
incredible guest artists. Each member brings their own compositions, technical
skills and unique improvisational energy to this lineup to help propel the music
and the listener into the stratosphere.

Opening the show at 9pm Sharp, and NOT to be missed, is the Bay Area's own James
Whiton, bassist extraordinaire from the Eric McFadden Trio, and his killer new
project featuring members of Fleeting Trance. "A virtuoso of acoustic upright
double bass, Whiton slaps, bows, maneuvers, and manipulates his instrument with
orchestral precision and street-corner desperation." -Silke Tudor, SF Weekly
James Whiton - Double Bass, Vocals, Loops
Robert Johnson- Drums
Scott Robertson - Guiitar
Manasseh - Guitar
