Many times our European friends on dime seed DVD's that may be PAL rather then NTSC (the standard in the US), which may or may not be playable on your DVD...

I think Edmond is confusing things a bit here. All you're doing when you run a video through DVD Shrink is make an all-region disc, not change the formatting...
