I have been contacted by Marius Luppino, Brielle Davis's agent.
Brielle will be releasing a track called Serial Thriller which was written by Chrissy Amphlett and Clive Young. Chrissy had approved for Brielle to record the track last year and the video clip was shot in Jan. Remixes of the single will go to clubs week commencing 13 March (on JJimmyZ’s 4Play NOVA show now) and the single will be on sale May 1, distributed by Rajon. Remixes are done by MrTimothy, JimmyZ, Wayne G and Moneyshott (Clive Young who wrote the track with Chrissy).
You can hear the hook on www.myspace.com/brielledavis – obviously will not be the same as hearing Chrrisy – but the influence is in the track and Brielle tried to deliver the track both through her interpretation and with regard to how Chrissy built the original song. Brielle met Chrissy last year and was overjoyed when she wished Brielle well with the song….and admitted it was a good thing that she had not read the biography before meeting her as she would have been too nervous to open her mouth !!
