Description

Djembe-L is the premier, global mail list dedicated to the ongoing development and maintenance of a knowledge base regarding the drum and dance musical culture of West Africa, including the Diaspora. Emphasis is upon the countries of Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, and Côte d'Ivoire. This emphasis is to follow primarily the music of the djembe, as supported by chant, song, rhythms, and dance. If you are "new" to the world of Djembe, the list archives or our companion website, Djembe-L FAQ have your answers.
