When the news reached me about Baba's passing, it was late Sunday.
I was sad, cried that he was gone, and was happy that our dear Baba was out
of pain.
Baba and I had become good friends, beginning that Saturday night, in
Austin, TX when he touched me at the 2nd International men's Conference,
1992 and said, "Shel, go and spread peace thru drumming."
Over the years, we worked together, chatted a lot, and drove all over Texas
when he visited here some years ago.
Baba was fun to be with. I will miss him dearly.
