This may not help much, but you can see and hear Baba play his big
daddy ashiko/ngoma at http://www.olatunjimusic.com/see.html .

His is bolt tuned rather than rope-tuned, but what I noticed about it
was that the drum is VERY low-tuned - between a djun and a djembe.
