Famoudou Konate's Drumming and Dancing Workshop in Guinea with a trip to
Sangbaralla Village
January 22, 2010 - February 19, 2010
$1,800 US Dollar (you provide transportation to Guinea)
For those of you looking for a deeper connection to the Malinké music and
culture don't miss out on this opportunity to join Famoudou Konaté in Guinea
on an educational tour of his homeland! This is an amazing opportunity to
visit the birthplace of the djembe and dununs with one of the most renowned
drum masters in the world. Enjoy the music, dance and song in their
traditional settings in both city and village life. Learn about the culture
that led to the creation of these instruments. For information and
registration go to http://www.medusadrums.com/famoudouclasses.htm.

We hope to see you on the tour or in Guinea!

Best wishes,

Helen Bond
