Be damn careful about rags or cloth or paper soaked in linseed oil - and open containers. That stuff can spontaneously combust.Dont toss them in a pile or lay...
I've never heard of open containers of linseed oil spontaneously combusting in 40 years of woodworking. Oily rags are a problem only if you let them pile up...
