President Bush comes to Dallas, Monday, 11-4-02 to stump for his Republicans cronies and will be at Moody Coliseum, sometime between 4-7 pm.
 
In conjunction with the Dallas Peace Center, Drums not guns and Food Not Bombs will be drumming for peace, at the Peace Rally, Monday, 11-4-02, 4 pm and we are requesting everyone within the sound of this email, grab your drums and join us as we tell President Bush - NO WAR IN IRAQ!!

Tell Bush: NO WAR IN IRAQ

 

Monday, November 4, 4:00 p.m.

 

Mockingbird and 75 Central Expressway (at the bridge), Dallas

 

President Bush will be in Dallas on Monday stumping for the Republicans. The
pro-Bush, pro-John "Enron" Cornyn, pro-war rally will be at Moody Coliseum
at the SMU campus on Monday evening, November 4. Doors will open at 4:00
p.m., but we do not know when the President will arrive.

 

The Dallas Coalition Against War in Iraq calls all demonstrators to a peace
rally at 75 Central Expressway and Mockingbird bridge, beginning at 4:00
p.m.

 

Bring signs and your voice. At some point the demonstration will become a
march on the sidewalks toward the Coliseum. We are in contact with the
police to keep this event safe. This will be a non-violent demonstration.

 

Tickets to get into the Coliseum will be available beginning at noon on
Saturday at the Dallas Republican headquarters at 9667 N. Central Expressway
(at Walnut Hill).

 

We need as many peace advocates as possible to gather at 75 and Mockingbird

Please consider riding DART rail to Mockingbord station, or at least park
east of Central Expressway.  There will be no parking available near campus.
