Ra zo ga ihmu! Welcome everybody!
Taking Part from your Home Countries.
Another way of participating in this Indigenous Ceremony is to meet with
your Sacred Drums and the drum of your heart at some Sacred Place in any
region or country on the planet. If you do this, we still ask that you
inform us as soon as possible, register your drums and let us know how many
people will be taking part from their home areas so that we can make the
connection and know how many drums are contributing to the Sound of the
8,000 Sacred Drums.
Currently there are events being organized to coincide with this event from
all over the world
such as Japan, France and Canada for example. We are also calling out for
any international film or
sound crews who would be interested in recording the event
This festival is all inclusive as an international expression of healing the
earth,
celebrating life and cultivating peace. Thus meaning if you have a different
instrument to convey this message this would be most welcomed. For example
your instrument may be song, dance, or art. If your specialty is
environmental sustainability you could set up eco villages to convey this
message. You could participate here at the festival or in your own
community. Either way please let us know of the ideas you have.
For logistics reasons, anyone attending - Indigenous Persons and People of
Other Traditions - must register, give a donation or contribution, and
obtain confirmation of their participation. Space is limited. For further
information, please contact us by phone at (722) 2 91 07 48 or (722) 7 73

The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral,
begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil,
it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot
murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you murder the
hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases
hate.... Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper
darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out
darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: Only love can
do that. - Martin Luther King, Jr.
