DrUmAtHoN for Mark O'Michael- planning meeting
We have joined forces with Drums Not Guns & Pagan Pride Day to raise
much-needed funds for Mark O'Michael, a long time community member
who has lost his leg due to the consequence of his diabetes and now
needs our help.


This event needs YOU! Whether you can drum, dance, help feed and
water the drummers and dancers, clap your hands, eat some chili,
join in the Hot Goddess Chili CookOff, eat some more chili, buy a
raffle ticket- collect prizes for the raffle, recruit sponsors to
pledge for a drummer, pass out fliers, set up for the event or help
break down- we have a spot for you.



Many fine drummers, (could it be YOU?) will be seeking sponsors to
pledge $ for time spent drumming. One of the fringe benefits,
besides the satisfaction of helping a community member in dire need;
We have recruited massage therapist & member, Chastidy to bring her
massage chair and she has generously offered to give participating
drummers one free 10-15 minute chair massage at the Drumathon!! And
they get to eat CHILI!!! The drummer who brings in the most pledges
will win a super cool prize too---So consider volunteering today! It
all adds up and it all helps out.
