It was great meeting you..I could tell you were into the rhythms at White Rock. I didn't realize you were our newest member to DNG at the time. I have been busily trying to finish a batch of dunun drum sticks to send with the welcome letter to you...maybe tonight.

Hello!
I joined DNG a week or so ago and thought that I would formally
introduce myself. I met some of you briefly at the Drum Extravaganza
and also last Sunday at WR lake. My friend Lucy turned me on to y'all.
My name is Laura(or LJ), I am a peace educator, as well as a peaceful
educator. I teach at The Center For Living Ethics in Fairview. Check
out my yahoo group North Texas Peace Learning Center for info about
a "Peacemaker Day Camp" program that I am offering this summer for kids
ages 7 - 12.
I am not a drummer, but hope to pick up a thing or two from you guys.
Mostly I want to promote peaceful living and have fun!
