"Fire in the night"

The room fills with the sound
of a blues filled soul
the ghost of the delta
hidden below the smoky wail
of a Dobro on fire

On the stage mesmorized in a trance
The singer does a magical dance
lost in the spirit of legends before
he plays his Dobro on fire

Late in the night when the moon rises high
the sound of the music
will leave you hypnotized
and your soul yearning for
the melody of the Dobro on fire
in the Delta sky
