A not infrequent frustration in my life (one among
many but this is not the forum :) is how often I find
that I've just missed a concert by someone I'd like
to see - A R Rahman in New York, Bikram Ghosh in
Nottingham to name but two and these are the ones that
I know I've missed. So I wondered if this list could
serve as a channel for notifications of upcoming events...

So for those lucky enough to be in New York:-

There is a 'Music Festival of India' in the latter
half of September. It includes:-

Vilayat Khan with Zakir Hussain and others on Sep 13th
(A must, surely!)

Wasifuddin Dagar singing Dhrupad on Sep 25th

T.N. Krishnan & N. Rajam on Oct 10th

Ram Narayan & Family on Nov 1st

Shobana & Company dance on Nov 15th
