With careers and families, my guess is that most of us no longer have time to conduct Doregama awards anymore :-).   While 'Slumdog' portrays a dark and sad side of Mumbai, it is great to see movies about India and music from India be recognized internationally.  It was quite a moment to see AR Rahman go up on stage to receive his Oscars.  Seeing Freida Pinto, Dev Patel, and the little kids from the movie go up on stage to receive the best picture Oscar was quite a sight as well.   Congratulations to Danny Boyle, AR, Fredia, Dev, and the rest of the crew for all of their Oscars last night.  Devu --- On Mon, 2/23/09, Bhushan N. <bhush01@...> wrote: From: Bhushan N. <bhush01@...> Subject: [doregama] Dream comes true...
